In a unexpected crossover event that breaks traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the official statement, "An unusual confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of prohibited practices and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret group.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an unique katana together with several artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
